In June 2018 Create 180 were commissioned by Bloomsbury publishing to create 6 spiders for the book launch of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2) by J.K. Rowling.
Many processes went into the creation of the spiders, starting with the 3D Cad design.
Then to the 3D printer.
Our talented team then went to work moulding & casting, wrapping, gluing, screwing and glazing, with even a bit of jewellery making and metal forging thrown in.
